Collaborative Online Desktop Engineering and Management (Collaborative Working Environments)
- Client: ESA, ESTEC Contract No.: 4000101325/10/NL/AF
- Period: September 2010 - Ongoing
- Prime Contractor: 4CON Ltd.
- Subcontractors: Capgemini Italia S.p.A, Technical University of Vienna
A consortium led by 4CON including Capgemini Italia and Vienna University of Technology will carry out for ESA a study about the collaborative online desktop technologies. The study will have a duration of 9 months and will develop a pilot project for a comprehensive collaborative tool which ideally will encompass the state of art of technology about remote cooperation between different study teams or entities.

4CON was a major member of the Logica team selected to carry out a study on sustainability
and space activities for ESA. 4CON tasks for the overall project comprised a survey of
current sustainability legislation worldwide (including the US and Japan) and a comparison with space systems requirements so
as to identify areas of conflict and concern, focussing on four ESA mission case studies - Ariane 5, Rosetta,
ATV and Galileo. The project commenced in November 2008 and was completed in August 2009.
